Auto Generator Start – Portable Generators

Compatibility:
– Victron Cerbo GX with SmartShunt or BMV-712
– Westinghouse portable generator with Smart Switch connector
– Duromax portable generator with ATS connector
– Genmax portable generator with ATS connector

How It Works:
This Auto Generator Start box serves as the interface between a Victron device and a compatible portable generator. Either Victron device acts as the brain and keeps track of the state of charge or system load. When the battery bank reaches a low state of charge, the Victron device sends a start or stop signal to the generator. This Auto Generator Start box is necessary as it converts the signal into a signal which the generator recognizes, enabling it to start and stop.
